Jill Hodapp is a stay-at-home mom that lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband, Kevin and two children, Caroline and Charlie. Jill and the kids like to explore the city and found that between their many adventures, trips to the shops and gifts from family and friends, the kids always had an abundance of toys on the shelves.

Jill wanted to make creating the annual toy donation pile before the holiday's fun and exciting, so the idea of Tidy the Elf was born. Tidy's goal is to empower her kids to help make decisions on what stays and what goes, when it comes time to declutter the toy room for Christmas morning. Knowing this is a problem many other parents can relate to, Jill decided to write this book to share her idea with others. Tidy is here to save the day and teach a valuable lesson in kindness and decision making, while also accomplishing the often-overwhelming task of decluttering the toy room.
